The hippy ao dai

Like most things, the ao dai has gone through an evolution and is subject to trends. One particularly colorful trend was the so called ao dai hippy or hippy ao dai, said to first appear in 1968. Not surprisingly this style of ao dai was known for it's bright colors and bold patterns.



Recently mark&vy have paid our own homage to the original ao dai hippy, with some very colorful, striking designs of our own.
